Boulogne State Forest is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Get re-acquainted with nature while enjoying the peaceful sounds of the forest and its inhabitants.

Be sure to check for signs indicating hunting season!

  • Hunting season is open two days a week from mid-September to the end of February.

At the crossroads, a poplar and a Scots pine welcome walkers. The Boulogne National Forest is home to many Scots pines. This one is between 60 and 100 years old.
